Communities for Children (CfC) is part of the Federal Government’s Family Support Program which provides prevention and early intervention programs to families with children pre-birth to 12 years, who are at risk of disadvantage or who may be disconnected from childhood services.

In Armadale WA, Communities for Children is facilitated by Communicare with funding from the Department of Social Services.

Communicare delivers some CfC services direct to local families, and others are contracted out to other non-profit community services, therefore increasing the number of agencies working in the area.

All CfC projects work collaboratively with the community and the many people, services and government departments, working towards the same aims.

Communicare also provides some administrative support to the Armadale Early Years Network (AEYN), a collaborative network of agencies and individuals who work towards providing better outcomes for our local children.

AEYN runs without direct funds or membership fees. The chair and minute takers roles are rotated at each monthly meeting.

Communicare operates the email database distributing information on services and activities to members and sending out minutes and agendas of meetings.

To receive information on AEYN please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or come along to a meeting on the last Wednesday of each month (except Dec) 12.30 pm at Seville Grove Library, Champion Drive, Seville Grove.
